Your new role
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, we are seeking a highly experienced and capable General Manager for our Residential Aged Care facility to be responsible for the highest standards of leadership, operational management and regulatory compliance in all aspects of the residential aged care services. This includes inspirational leadership of all aged care staff and delivery of excellence in clinical care, resident wellbeing and support services. This includes working closely with and building positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, and staff, as well as managing quality improvement activities to achieve strategic objectives and improve the lives of our community.

About You
You will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the aged care (or similar) industry, including experience in managing complex care facilities.
- Proven experience and success in delivering financial and operational outcomes
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in leading a team through accreditation processes, including preparation for
- Demonstrated ability in communicating with residents and their families.
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience with AN-ACC or similar types of funding models
- Able to provide a strategic focus to the planning and delivery of services
- Able to manage and support a diverse range of people in a diverse range of roles.
- Strong change management, team building and interpersonal skills.
- Able to demonstrate initiative, sound decision making and effective conflict resolution.
- Sound analysis and reporting and computer skills
- IT Literacy and familiarity with care systems
- Full Covid 19 and other related vaccination
